John has 20+ years of experience in the clean-tech industry. He has designed and manufactured solar equipment hardware and has worked at a battery storage OEM manufacturer. John has designed, built, inspected, and/or maintained hundreds of on and off grid PV and PV+storage systems. John co-founded multiple startups, one of which received two acquisition offers from publicly traded companies.  He has worked on energy access projects in Haiti, India, and Sub Saharan Africa with Engineers Without Borders and the Earth Institute at Columbia University. John received a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Specialization in Renewable Energy Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm Sweden.
